It’s safe to say Ethan and Grayson Dolan are on their rise to the top. This week not only did they both hit 4 million Twitter followers, they’ve also announced that MTV have picked them to help with hosting the revival of TRL.
Announcing on their Twitter pages yesterday Grayson wrote:
ETHAN AND I ARE GONNA BE ON TV! @MTV is bringing back @TRL and me and E are gonna be working with them! IM SO FREAKING EXCITED GUYS

The gorgeous twins will be “providing on-air hosting duties across platforms” on TRL, Hollywood Reporter informed the internet yesterday. In recent weeks we have already seen JC Caylen, Amy Pham and Patrick Starr take over TRL’s Snapchat.
The Dolan Twins will be joining GiGi Gorgeous, Gabbie Hannah and Eva Gutowski as the social media stars who have joined MTV’s shows to bring the show to a whole new demographic. Fan favourites Liza Koshy and Amy Pham are also set to host the show. Bringing music, and YouTubers together is a concept we can’t get enough of.
It’s easy to see why MTV have picked up the Dolan Twins for these reporting duties. The twins have over 4 million YouTube subscribers, are known for their passion for music, their cheeky personalities and we suppose their incredible looks may help too.
